This is the backend component of the AI Code Assistant application, built with FastAPI and LangChain.

Installation

1. Create a virtual environment:

   python -m venv venv
   source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate
   

2. Install dependencies:

   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

Running the Application

For development:

python start.py

For production:

./deploy.sh

API Documentation

When the server is running, you can access the API documentation at:

• Swagger UI: http://localhost:8000/docs
• ReDoc: http://localhost:8000/redoc

Docker Support

Build and run with Docker:

docker build -t ai-code-assistant-backend .
docker run -p 8000:8000 ai-code-assistant-backend
